As we dive into a holiday week, we look towards a somewhat slower season for shows. While there will certainly be no shortage of quality music throughout the remains of November and into December, the marathon pace at which we’ve been previewing, reviewing, and running giveaways will ease up a bit, until we kick off the new year. You wouldn’t know it judging by last week, however. It was another busy one, and, in case you missed out on any of our exciting announcements or coverage, we’ve recapped it all for you below:

  • NO COUNTRY PRESENTS: Allen Thompson Band | Tuesday, Nov. 25 at Acme Feed & Seed
  • NEWS: Bluegrass stars Yonder Mountain String Band announced a Jan. show at Cannery Ballroom!
  • NEWS: Singer/songwriter Damien Rice announced an April 1 show at the Mother Church.
  • NEWS: SXSW announced its second wave of 2015 artists, including Nashville acts ELEL, Turbo Fruits and PUJOL.
  • NEWS: As we predicted, the Foo Fighters announced a Bridgestone arena date for next fall.
  • NEWS: After quickly selling out a second night at The Ryman, Hozier added a THIRD!
  • NEWS: Cincinnati pop rockers Walk the Moon announced a spring return to Cannery Ballroom.
  • NEWS: Alt-J announced an April show at the Grand Ole Opry House.
  • NEWS: After a three year hiatus, The Decemberists announced a spring performance at The Ryman.
