SXSW

We hear at No Country are huge fans of the annual madness of SXSW in Austin, TX.  It’s partly because it is a break from the cold weather in Nashville, it’s party because it is a huge party, but it is mostly because it is an awesome opportunity to get in touch with the up and coming musicians that blow our minds.  Sure, we end up seeing buzzy bands that we have read about, and occasionally we stumble upon a once in a lifetime event.  But, you inevitably end up finding someone that you have never hear of that captures the reason that you started listening to music in the first place.  What’s to say that you or your band couldn’t be the next to break at this year’s SXSW from March 17 – 22, 2015 in Austin?

If you think you have what it takes, and you have $33, then you should head over to Sonic Bids to submit your EPK.  The discounted registration runs through September 12th, before it jumps up to $45.  The registration period ends on October 12th, so, unless you think you are going to have a label push you into the bill, it’s probably the best night home from the bar you ever spent.  Get your EPK together, submit your band, practice like hell, and don’t suck.  Click below for entry details.
