Lucero

Just like last year and the year before, we’re making it our mission to help you get acquainted with as many bands as we can from Bonnaroo‘s impressive 2014 lineup.  We’ll start from the bottom and work our way up, paying special attention to the smaller and lesser known acts on this year’s bill. Keep reading for your Bonnaroo Band of the Day…

LEARN

Saavy bar owners track alcohol sales for each band, and let me tell you… Lucero ranks amongst the tops in that category.  What does that mean for you, fine Bonnaroovian?  It means that these are your fellow party seeking peoples.  The Memphis based punkabilly have a little something for everyone.  Melding roots rock with alt-country and punk, these players bring their all for every performance.

Currently playing in support of their 2013 release, Texas & Tennessee, Lucero is the kind of band that will appeal to the masses at the farm.  Expect massive crowds at the Which Stage for this unique act of Tennesseans!

LISTEN | “On My Way Downtown”

WATCH | “Modern Love” (David Bowie cover)
