Ray LaMontagne to Play The Woods at Fontanel July 25

RAY LA MONTAGNE

As we told you last month, folk rock singer-songwriter Ray LaMontagne has a sixth album, Supernova, slated to drop May 6 through RCA Records. Not just that, but highly-anticiapted followup to 2010’s God Willin’ & The Creek Don’t Rise was recorded right here in Nashville, and produced by none other than The Black Keys’ own Dan Auerbach. You can scope out the lead single and title track below, but, if you want the real Ray experience, you can catch him live this summer for his first Nashville performance since 2012, July 25 at The Woods Amphitheater at Fontanel. We’re big fans of Fontnel and its amazing ambience around these parts, and we highly recommend picking up a ticket for this event. They went on sale today, and range from $29.50-74.50 (Fontanel has seats now, apparently, so yay for cheaper lawn tickets). Support has yet to be announced, but we’re sure it’ll be someone great. We know it’s just the start of spring, but we’re already getting psyched for summer!
