A longtime scene favorite, Four Year Strong helped popularize the “easycore” sound of the ‘00s, fusing pop punk hooks and melodies with hardcore riffs and breakdowns. Over 20 years and seven LPs, the group have cemented themselves as one of pop punk’s most enduring acts. Hailing from Worcester, Massachusetts, FYS quickly rose to prominence after their 2007 sophomore album Rise of Die Trying, and would spend the next several years becoming one of the most celebrated bands of the MySpace and Warped Tour heyday, touring the world, and graduating to major label status. Their output has slowed a bit over the years, but they continue to push sonic bounds and hone their sound, most recently with 2020’s Brain Pain.

It’s 2010 fourth album Enemy of the World, however, that has long persisted as a fan-favorite, and since the band couldn’t properly tour in 2020 for its 10th anniversary due to the pandemic, they’re doing so a little late, performing the record (which is also getting a Taylor Swift-style re-recorded re-release later this month, featuring the first physical pressing since its initial run) on the road this fall, which returns them to town Nov. 6 to headline Eastside Bowl!

Supported by an especially stacked lineup of beloved Chicago pop punks Knuckle Puck, Atlanta indie/post-hardcore punks Microwave, and buzzy Canadian emo/pop punk project Youth Fountain, this is undoubtedly one of the fall’s most essential shows for fans of ’00s pop punk! While you can still get tickets right here, we’re also excited to announce that we’re giving away a pair of tickets to a one lucky winner.
