[TICKET GIVEAWAY] Emo Night Nashville ft. Kenny Vasoli, Cassadee Pope, The Emo Band, & More | May 7 @ Marathon Music Works

For a number of years now Nashville Is The Reason and Emo Night Nashville have been hosting some of the coolest parties in town for fans of emo, pop punk, hardcore, and indie, often featuring guest DJs from renowned local and national bands, and occasionally bringing to town live acts like Pennsylvania’s The Emo Band, who play backing band to live karaoke for some seriously nostalgic emo covers.

For their latest Emo Night Nashville, set to take place Saturday, May 7 at the main room of Marathon Music Works (a fitting full-circle moment, as NITR hosted many an evening in the adjacent William Collier’s bar in their early days), elements of a lot of previous parties will be combined for one supersized event, featuring not only the return of The Emo Band, but also a seriously star-studded slate of guests: Kenny Vasoli (The Starting Line), Cassadee Pope (ex-Hey Monday), Charlotte Sands, Alex Melton, Will Pugh (Cartel), Nick Wheeler (The All-American Rejects), Alex Garcia (Mayday Parade), Ryan Key (ex-Yellowcard), Kevin Sanders (Cartel), Taylor Acorn, Kalie Shorr, Sam Varga, Nicholas Banos (Manic.), Maggie MIles, and DJ Sheemo.

While not exactly a full-on concert, this also is far from just a DJ night. Expect musical guests to jump up with The Emo Band to tackle some of their own favorite covers (and yes, some DJ sets throughout), plus some additional fun like an emo haircut station, a photo booth, a merch market, and the typical Marathon libations. All and all, it sounds like a night of nostalgia, singalongs, and a chance to see some of the coolest artists both from in town and renowned within the pop punk scene perform in a very unique and intimate way!
