By the time his debut LP, Everything is Fine, arrived in 2018, Danny Kiranos, better known by his musical alias Amigo the Devil, had already amassed a cult following, thanks to years of honing his lauded and raw live show and his folky, country, rock and metal infused, dark and macabre themed, confessional sound across a string of early EPs. Hailing originally from Miami, though he moved to California as a teen, the unique songwriter started out performing alone with just an acoustic guitar or banjo, but fleshed out his sound with last year’s sophomore record Born Against, adding a full band and electric instruments to flesh his latest work out live.
After opening for Trampled by Turtles at The Ryman and Gogol Bordello at Brooklyn Bowl earlier this year, Amigo the Devil returns for a proper headliner Nov. 16 at Eastside Bowl, tapping Atlanta’s Brother Hawk, recent signees to Amigo the Devil’s own Liars Club label, as support! Tickets are still available right here, but we’re excited to announce that we’re also giving away a pair of tickets to one lucky fan! And not only that, but our winner will also receive a free t-shirt! Preview the lineup, and enter below.
