Anti-folk/indie pop singer-songwriter Regina Spektor is gearing up to release her eighth album and first in six years, Home, before and after, later this month, June 24, and has recently been sharing some new tunes in anticipation, beginning with “Becoming All Alone” and “Up the Mountain,” and, most recently, “Loveology,” a fan-favorite song she’s played live a few times before, debuting it in 2019 ahead of a sold out New York residency.
The Russian-American singer, songwriter, and pianist first arrived on the scene with 2001’s 11:11, and quickly became a beloved figure in the New York anti-folk movement, but after a few years of indie stardom, found wider mainstream recognition with her 2006 fourth LP Begin to Hope. Spektor has played Nashville numerous times over the years, almost always at The Ryman Auditorium, where she last passed through in 2017, and The Ryman is where she’ll headline once again, Oct. 20 as part of a newly-announced leg of fall dates.
A remarkable live performer with more than two decades of amazing work to her name, Regina’s latest Music City outing is sure to be one of our most-anticipated shows of the fall, and you can get tickets here right now while they last!
