Oregon forged, LA based indie pop outfit flor first turned heads with their debut EP, sounds, in 2015, rapidly building a fanbase with their accessible, stylish, electro-laced style. After inking a deal with Fueled By Ramen, the band dropped their first full-length, come out, you’re hiding, in 2017, honing the atmospheric, stylish, and hook-laden, sound of their earlier work and enhancing it with a cool and well-matched visual aesthetic, leading to tours with acts like Halsey, Hayley Kiyoko, Paramore, and Walk The Moon. 2019 sophomore effort ley lines drew further critical acclaim, and helped push flor’s sound to new slick, synth-soaked, and earnest heights, and with their latest, the just-released Future Shine, flor sound more confident, catch-y and primed for mainstream attention than ever.
Out in support of their latest, the band are set to make their way back to Nashville for the first time since the pandemic, Oct. 12 at Eastside Bowl along with buzz worthy local indie/alt pop transplants The Wldlfe and alt pop newcomers good problem, both great compliments to flor’s synthy, hook-y, layered flavor of pop.
