If you haven’t yet heard, two East Tennessee local beverage staples, Johnson City founded brewery Yee Haw Brewing Company and Gatlinburg moonshine purveyor Ole Smoky Distillery, both who’ve had a presence in Music City and beyond for a long time, recently teamed up to jointly open a Nashville home base, a cool new SoBro complex they’ve dubbed 6th & Peabody. Located at 423 6th Ave S, the space will, of course, serve a full range of beer and moonshine from both brands, with a distillery, brewery, bar, tasting area, bottle shop, and merchandise, as well as space for live entertainment, a generous outdoor area, local food options, and more.

In celebration of the brand new space, 6th & Peabody will host a free, all ages grand opening party on Sept. 7, featuring live music from Boston based, dance-primed, funk-infused party outfit Ripe, local alt/indie rockers Jackson Brick & The Dukes of Home, and Athens based alt rock outfit Walden. You can find out more about the event (which appears to have some other non-musical activities set throughout the day) here, preview the performers below, and learn more about 6th & Peabody at the social media links at the bottom of the page!
