Celebrating its 10th season, Nashville’s free, all ages, biannual musical showcase series Musician’s Corner kicked off its spring season last weekend in Centennial Park and continues this weekend, May 17 & 18, with another impressive slate of performers like bluegrass singer Sierra Hull and soulful r&b singer Kyshona on Friday, and Americana singer-songwriter Parker Millsap and breakout pop rocker Brandy Zdan on Saturday, in addition to Friday’s Austin Plaine, Giri & Uma Peters, and Katie Ruvane, and Saturday’s &More (Chill Moody & Donn T), Viva Mexico, Savannah Sgro, Eli Fox, Kenneth Hampton, Bryce Merritt, and Lacy Green.

Following the template of seasons past, Friday evenings throughout May and June will feature an Acoustic Friday Night lineup from 5-9 p.m., and each Saturday, Musicians Corner will host both Main Stage and Lightning 100 Acoustic Stage performers from 12-6 p.m. The event is family friendly, all ages, and free, and features food trucks, beer, local vendors, Kidsville activities, and more! Boasting perhaps the most impressive lineup in the festival’s history, the 2019 spring season features over 100 mostly local and regional acts from a wide range of musical backgrounds, including Soccer Mommy, Bantug, Idle Bloom, Aaron Lee Tasjan, John Paul White, Nikki Lane, Jim Lauderdale, Daisha McBride, Dream Wave, Joshua Hedley, Pokey LaFarge, Teddy and the Rough Riders, Andrew Leahey, Erin Rae, Kelsey Kopecky, and many, many more.

In addition to this season’s regularly scheduled performances, Musician’s Corner will also welcome back the Nashville Symphony for a special show on Thursday, June 6, and will partner with the American Artisan Festival for a supersized three-day weekend of music June 14-16. And for the spring’s June 21 finale, John Paul White’s Single Lock Records will curate, for an event White also headlines. Needless to say, Musicians Corner remains one of the most vibrant, fun, and frugal ways to experience some of the best artists Music City has to offer, and this year’s lineup definitely has our circling our calendars for the rest of the spring. You can preview all of artists on this weekend’s inaugural spring slate (and check out their performance times) below, and find more about Musicians Corner and upcoming weekend lineups right here!
