Breakout local grunge pop group Bully recently released their highly-anticipated sophomore LP and first for Sub Pop. Dubbed Losing, the album is an earnest, raw, anxious, and vulnerable triumph that has dominated our playlists for weeks, and a worthy followup to the band’s explosive 2015 debut, Feels Like.
As we told you awhile back, Bully will celebrate Losing with three hometown shows next month at Mercy Lounge, their first proper club shows in Nashville in almost two years, with Adia Victoria and Western Medication supporting Dec. 14 (tickets here), Daddy Issues supporting Dec. 15 (tickets here), and Pujol and Sad Baxter supporting Dec. 16 (tickets here).
Leading up to their tour and on the heels of the new release, the band have just dropped a band new video for ferocious lead single “Feel the Same.” Created by “a food focused team of creatives” called Lazy Mom, the spot is a bright, surreal, stop motion affair that feels like a weird and compelling companion to the track.
