We already gave you the full rundown on Bleachers‘ performance tonight, Sept. 13 at Marathon Music Works with Tangerine. The Jack Antonoff-helmed project’s first appearance in Music City in three years, on the heels of absolute incredible sophomore effort Gone Now, it is, without a doubt, one of our most-anticipated shows of 2017. Miraculously, tickets are still available right here, and you should seriously snag them immediately.
If you still not some convincing though, we encourage you to watch the band’s recent appearance on NPR’s popular Tiny Desk series. It’s always interesting when groups as layered and electronic as Bleachers strip down to the Tiny Desk format, and often revealing of their core artistry and the strength of the songs themselves. Navigating “Everybody Lost Somebody,” “Don’t Take the Money,” and “Foreign Girls,” all from Gone Now, with just piano, keyboard/drum machine, and sax, it’s absolutely captivating, and should give you just a preview of how great tonight will be.
