After the surprise recent release of epic single “Run,” and its hilarious accompanying music video, we knew the Foo Fighters were gearing up to make good on the promise of new music, and that tour news would inevitably be on the way as well. Today we got confirmations of both, and, lucky for us, the band are making their way back to Nashville sooner than expected!

Dubbed Concrete and Gold, the Foos’ ninth LP, a followup to 2014’s ambitious, city-spanning Sonic Highways, will arrive Sept. 15 on Roswell/RCA, and is described as a collision between some of the band’s more hard-hitting, rock extremities and nuanced pop sensibilities. In support of its release, they’re treating the west coast to an epic, Cal Jam day fest, then hitting the road for an arena tour, which brings them back to Bridgestone Arena on Oct. 23, where they last played almost exactly two years prior.

Tickets to the Foo Fighters’ return will go on sale Thursday, June 29 at 10 a.m. CDT here, and Concrete and Gold is available for pre-order here. Watch “Run” and check out a full list of tour dates below!
