Leading up the release of their phenomenal, retro, poppy, intensely personal, sad/happy masterpiece of a new album, After Laughter, which arrived on Friday, famed local rockers Paramore announced a handful of international dates, a few stateside festivals and fairs, a third installment of their Parahoy! concert cruise, and, of course, last week’s amazing, semi-secret hometown show at Exit/In– their return to stage after a two year absence.
We knew a proper North American run would materialize sooner or later, and the band just delivered, with the announcement of fall trek of theaters, ending with a hometown show at The Ryman on Oct. 17. In recent years, Paramore have played major venues like Bridgestone Arena and Municipal Auditorium, so, though a bit larger then their Exit/In outing, this is still nonetheless an incredibly intimate affair. With support from breezy, indie duo Best Coast, pre-sale tickets require that you register through Ticketmaster’s verified fan program by 10 p.m. TONIGHT, May 15; if verified, you’ll receive a code to purchase tickets when they go on pre-sale Wednesday, May 17, though availability is still not guaranteed (Harry Styles recently used the same platform, and it appeared to help eliminate scalpers and bots).
Various other pre-sales begin throughout the next week, and general on sale begins Wednesday, May 24 at 10 a.m. CDT right here– if one pre-sale doesn’t work out, keep trying, as there will always be tickets set aside for the general sale. Check out a full list of new dates below!
