For years now, we’ve been signing praises about local emotionally-charged alt rock outfit Daisyhead, whose 2015 debut full-length, The Smallest Light, helped introduce them to a broader national audience. The group have been keeping busy, touring the nation, experiencing a few lineup shifts and personal turmoil, and, most recently opening for Dashboard Confessional. They still found time to craft their sophomore record, however; dubbed In Case You Missed It, the band’s latest LP will drop April 28 through No Sleep Records, and, last week, they gave us a taste in the form of first single and video, “Don’t Feel Bad.”
A deeply personal tune representative of an album-wide theme of navigating anxiety, self-doubt, and insecurity, In Case You Missed It it is a culmination of Daisyhead’s most personal, focused, and necessary album making process to date, and we have no doubt that it’ll be the best work yet. Just give “Don’t Feel Bad” a spin below to see for yourself, pre-order the album right here, and keep an eye out for local show news in the new future; there’s bound to be a release party in the works!
