Apollo Wild have been making waves with their unique brand of gritty and surprising rock and roll in recent months. Comprised of Nashville transplants Reece Presson, Ethan Barton, Alex Rodriguez, Chris Malone and Phil Campbell, the group mix the cutting lyrical honesty of Ryan Adams with the fun, infectious quality of polished bands like The Killers. Today, we’re excited to premiere “No Love Lost,” the title track of Apollo Wild’s forthcoming debut album.
Although the track was originally more of a finger-picked folk song, it eventually transformed into a rocking symphony of tumultuous guitar and hypnotic vocals. Inspired by a trying relationship that created thoughts of self-doubt and hopelessness, “No Love Lost” takes a hard look at how you can let someone else’s toxic attitude derail you from your own destiny. It’s arena-ready alt-rock that packs a punch while supplying plenty of authenticity and depth.
