Local soul/funk outfit and friends of the site Alanna Royale have announced a pop up show tonight at City Winery, and it is just the cure for the grey, rainy Monday blues. This will be the last official local show of 2016 for the band, who are hard at work on their follow up to their outstanding 2014 LP Achilles. AR trumpeteer Charles Ray will be opening things up. Doors for the show are at 6 p.m., the music gets started around 8 p.m., and tickets are available for only $5.
