As we told you when it was announced, prolific rocker and My Morning Jacket frontman Jim James is set to release a new solo LP, Eternally Even, on Nov. 4, and has announced a headlining tour in support, including a stop at The Ryman Auditorium on Nov. 23. The new record, which was co-produced by James and Blake Mills (Dawes, Alabama Shakes), speaks to the social and political turmoil that we face in today’s society, with a series of uplifting and inspirational songs. He previously released the soulful protest song, “Same Old Lie,” and returned last week to release “Here In Spirit,” which was reportedly written in the aftermath of the tragic Pulse nightclub shootings in Orlando, FL.
