2016 Music City Mayhem Nominees Announced; Voting Underway!

Though the 2016 Live on the Green lineup doesn’t arrive until next week, this year’s Music City Mayhem competition, presented by Lightning 100, is already underway! Held annually, the bracket-style contest begins with 32 artists, selected by the station from hundreds of submissions, who compete daily for votes, ultimately resulting in four finalists and one wild card pick by July 1, who will compete live Saturday, July 9 at a free show at Marathon Music Works, where audience vote determines a final winner. That finalist will not only score a coveted slot at this year’s Live on the Green, but will also receive additional radio play, free recording studio time, 50 branded t-shirts, a photo/video EPK, and more. A few rounds have already passed (which we’ve updated, and will continue to do throughout) but, below, you can preview this year’s 32 competitors and check out voting schedules, so you’ll know when to head here to support your faves!
