They’re baaaaaaacccckkk! Fans of California garage punk, psych rock legend John Dwyer, and his amazing band Thee Oh Sees can celebrate today, because it was just announced that a new record, entitled A Weird Exits, will arrive on Aug. 12 via Dwyer’s co-founded Castle Face Records. This will be the group’s first studio album with the current lineup:  John Dwyer (guitar, vocals), duel drummers Ryan Moutinho and Dan Rincon, and Tim Hellman on bass. The band have also announced a Live in San Fransisco double LP and accompanying DVD set for release on July 1. Even better news? They’ll be making their triumphant return to Nashville Nov. 7 along with Amplified Heat, almost two years to the day since they last shredded Music City eardrums. Tickets to the 18+ show at Mercy Lounge go on sale this Friday, May 27, at 11 a.m. CDT for just $16 and you better jump on them, because they sold out Exit/In on their last visit. Check out new single “Plastic Plant” below!
