One of our favorite performers from Bonnaroo 2014, Black Pistol Fire remind us of what a blues rock duo should sound like, with no frills and just the right amount of smoke. Based in Austin, TX, via Ontario, BPF are gearing up to release their latest LP, Don’t Wake the Riot, on May 20. Judging by recent singles, it’s going to be just as cookin’ as their other offerings, and there’s even more great news. The group will be stopping in on Nashville July 14 to perform at Mercy Lounge. Tickets to this 18+ affair go on sale this Friday, May 13 at 10 a.m. CDT right here. Music will start at 9 p.m., doors at 8, and the opener will be announced at a later date.
