Canadian indie pop sister duo Tegan and Sara had the biggest mainstream  crossover hit of their career with 2013 LP Heartthrob, followed by Lego Movie contribution “Everything Is Awesome,” a one-two punch that has had us eagerly awaiting their next album. Dubbed Love You to Death, the sisters’ recently announced eighth full-length effort with finally arrive June 3 via Warner Bros! If the first two tracks, “U-turn” and “Boyfriend” are any indication, it doesn’t sound like the duo plan to deviate from the poppier turn they took last time around, finding broader accessibility without comprising the indie rock sensibilities or personal, socially aware thematic focus that have characterized their seventeen years of making music together. In support of the upcoming release, Tegan and Sara have just announced a lengthy North American tour set to take place in this fall, and they’ll be making their way back to Nashville Oct. 24 for a show at Cannery Ballroom! Tickets to the all ages outing, their first in Music City in more than two years, will go on sale this Friday, April 29 at 10 a.m. CDT right here!
