Ahead of the release of his highly-anticipated fourth studio album, Views from the 6, set to drop this Friday, April 29, famed Canadian rapper Drake has announced a lengthy summer tour of North America with frequent collaborator Future (the pair most recently dropped a joint mixtape, What a Time to Be Alive, last fall). Dubbed the “Summer Sixteen Tour” after a recent Drake single, the run will hit Bridgestone Arena on Aug. 14, where Drake last played in 2012 (Future was just in town earlier this month, to headline Vanderbilt’s Rites of Spring festival). Roy Woods and DVSN, both signed to Drake’s OVO Sound label, have been announced to support, with additional special guests forthcoming. Tickets go on sale this Friday, April 29, the same day Views drops, at 10 a.m. CDT, with various pre-sales beginning as early as Tuesday. Grab ’em right here.
