Cage the Elephant to Play Ascend Amphitheater May 19

Tiny pop up club shows, special fan-centric events, and festival spots aside, it’s actually been awhile since local rockers Cage the Elephant headlined an event in Nashville with enough room for the general public (Live on the Green ’14, or Marathon Music Works in 2012). One of the best live acts making music today, bar none, the group are gearing up for an extensive North American tour this spring, in support of their new, Dan Auerbach produced fourth album, Tell Me I’m Pretty, and they’ll show their home city some love on May 19, for a performance at Ascend Amphitheater with Portugal. The Man as part of a just-announced new leg of dates. You’ve undoubtedly seen us rave about Cage constantly, but if you’ve somehow missed out on seeing them in person, this show should be an absolute requirement. Grab tickets beginning Friday, March 18 at 10 a.m. CDT.
