Daniel Ellsworth And The Great Lakes-2015-620

We’ve been following the hype surrounding Daniel Ellsworth & The Great Lakes‘ upcoming EP, Bemidji, with the release of the first two singles, “Always/Never” and “Get Mine,” and, finally, here we are at release week.  The album was written in the small town of Bemidji, Minn. (thus the name), but recorded here by renowned studio man Vance Powell. Described as a companion piece to their highly acclaimed 2014 release Kid Tiger, the new EP seeps into a little bit darker territory, while retaining the band’s highly energetic and dance-able brand of indie rock, likely to add even more fuel to the Nashville band’s increasingly rabid fanbase.

Head below for an advance stream of the EP while you wait for the official release on Friday, and make sure that you have tickets to their official release party as part of Nashville Sunday Night with Myzica, March 13 at 3rd & Lindsley!
