A few weeks back, we told you about Nashville transplants Light Beam Rider, and their eclectic, proggy, indie alt-rock sound, on display in our premiere of the title track from their newest album, A Place To Sleep Among The Creeps. Today, we up the ante in anticipation of the official release on Feb. 12 with a full album stream two days early.
Head below to dig into a band that came to town as friends of The Weeks, quickly caught the ear of Diarrhea Planet, and have already begun amassing tons of local fans (including us). Then mark your calendar for their album release show on Friday, Feb. 12 at Little Warpath Brewing, featuring support from Free Throw, Moseley, and The Pressure Kids, as well as special guests from Diarrhea Planet and Sol Cat. Admission will cost you $5 at the door, the event is 21+, and things get started around 8 p.m. If you can’t make it out on Friday or live in the ‘Boro, they will be part of a Bernie Sanders fundraiser at The Block in Murfreesboro on Saturday night, details here.
