In 2007, Santigold (then named Santogold) burst onto the pop scene with her unique mixture of hypnotic beats, stylized vocals, and unshakable hooks. Nine years later, the Philadelphia-based producer and genre-bending artist is prepping to release her third studio album, 99¢, which drops Feb. 26. The album, which is largely centered around the music industry’s complicated relationship with consumerism, is already being praised as one of her best releases yet.

The gutsy pop queen has announced a extensive list of dates for her We Buy Gold Tour, which thankfully includes a stop at Marathon Music Works on April 22, marking singer’s first headlining Nashville outing ever. If you’ve never been lucky enough to experience Santigold’s energetic live show, now’s your chance. Tickets will go on sale Friday, Feb. 5 at 10 a.m. CST right here, and will likely go fast. Grab yours while you can, then click below to see her brand new video for “Chasing Shadows,” which artistically conveys the sense of loneliness that can emerge during the holiday season.
