Back in the fall of 2012, beloved indie/pop punk group Say Anything packed out the Exit/In, for their first Nashville show in nearly eight years. It was epic, and ever since, we’ve been not-so-patiently awaiting their return. That’ll finally happen on May 22, when the Max Bemis-led group head back to Nashville for a performance at Marathon Music Works with mewithoutYou, another longtime favorite, who’ve managed to pass through Music City a number of times over the past couple of years. Say Anything’s last effort, the conceptual, guitar-less Hebrews arrived in 2014, and we’re told new music may be on the way. Though once a semi-fixed lineup, Bemis is now backed by a revolving group of live players, and recent tours have boasted a career-spanning setlist. Teen Suicide and Museum Mouth round out this extra stacked bill, and tickets are set to go on sale this Friday, Jan. 15 at 12 p.m. CST right here (you can also snag special pre-sale tickets here). Don’t miss out!
