Just a little over a week until the Dec. 18 release of their highly-anticipated, Dan Auerbach produced fourth album, Tell Me I’m Pretty, acclaimed Nashville-based rockers Cage the Elephant are gearing up to unleash new tunes on the world with a series of special events. We already told you about their Dec. 17 Grimey’s in-store, and, now, the band have partnered up with popular blogging platform Tumblr to host yet another special, intimate event for local fans. Branded Tumblr IRL, the event is slated for Wednesday, Dec. 16 at Studio 615 in East Nashville. It’s free and all ages, but space is limited to first come first served availability (be sure to RSVP here). Not only will the band perform, but art inspired by their new album, already available to view on their Tumblr (hence the “Tumblr IRL”) and created by talented artists from around the world, will be on display. Sounds a pretty cool and unique way to experience some amazing new music from one of Nashville’s (and Earth’s) best bands. Head here for additional details, listen to new tracks “Mess Around” “Trouble,” and “Too Late to Say Goodbye,” and pre-order Tell Me I’m Pretty right here.
