LUCERO
Lucero have been together since 1998, and released their first album in 2001. They’ve stood the test of time and have the musical catalogue to prove it. Reminiscent of Drive-By Truckers or Jason Isbell, they definitely hone the Nashville sound and combine grunge with honest, Southern rock. They just released a new album, All A Man Should Do on Sept. 18, which serves as the group’s most experimental effort yet, adventuring on newer sounds and tones. Lucero even feature a cover of Big Star’s “I Fell in Love with a Girl.” The record is relatable to most walks of life ,and you don’t want to miss seeing them live. Check out their new single, “Can’t You Hear Them Howl,” below!
Lucero will perform tonight, Oct. 1 at Cannery Ballroom. The show is 18+, begins at 9 p.m. (doors at 8 p.m.), and tickets are available for $25.
