SteelPanther-620

Almost exactly one year after their last Music City outing, satirical glam metal rockers Steel Panther have announced a return to town, Dec. 8 at Marathon Music Works! Hailing from Los Angeles and made up of former members of the more serious local metal scene, Steel Panther formed 15 years ago as Metal Skool, lampooning but never flat-out mocking the hair metal era larger than life LA scene in the ’80s. Though over-exaggered and, often, hilarious, what keeps Steel Panther a fave of old school metalheads is that their tunes are dripping with glam metal authenticity, and, despite the sometimes silly lyrics, they’re doing it better than anyone else has in decades. Grab your tickets now and get ready to rock!
