It’s no secret that we absolutely obsessed over Jenny Lewis‘s incredible 2014 full-length The Voyager, and jumped at every chance we had to see her last year, including performances at Forecastle Fest and last fall at Marathon Music Works. While the Voyager cycle seems to be winding down, the former Rilo Kiley songstress is already looking ahead at next year, and planning something extra special for the tenth anniversary of her solo debut, Rabbit Fur Coat. Released a year before Rilo Kiley’s final album, Rabbit Fur Coat really kickstarted Jenny’s flourishing solo career, cementing her status powerhouse fixture in indie pop, and featured backing from Louisville folk duo The Watson Twins (who frequently join Lewis live in concert). Lewis will celebrate the album with shows early next year in New York, Los Angeles, and, thankfully, Nashville, Feb. 6 at The Ryman Auditorium, just a couple weeks after the LP turns 10. Joining Jenny are The Watson Twins (because duh) and special guest and sometimes collaborator M. Ward. Pre-sales for the special evening begin this Wednesday, Sept. 23 at 10 a.m. CDT (sign up here for details), and the general on-sale will began Saturday, Sept. 26 at noon.
