Kidnapping, theft, car chases, and murder – it’s all just another day in the life of the alt-country duo HoneyHoney. Well, not really, but you’d think that after watching the video for their new single “You And I” from their third album, appropriately titled 3. Guitarist Ben Jaffe and vocalist/violinist Suzanne Santo, who were based here in Nashville at one point but have since relocated to LA, brought back the film noir-inspired concept to make this video a prequel to the one for 2012’s “Angel of Death” (which you can watch here), which pairs perfectly with the sultry tone of the song. These two are as incredible live as they are on-screen, and you’ll have not one, but two chances to see them here in Nashville this fall, so click through to watch the video and get tickets to see the group at AmericanaFest on Sept. 17 and/or at 3rd & Lindsley on Oct. 11.
