Fall is right around the corner, and that means we’ll soon be dusting off our sweatshirts, cracking open Oktoberfest beer, and, of course, gearing up for Halloween. While there is never a shortage of fun Music City happenings for the costumed occasion, our attention is usually divided amongst a variety of smaller, DIY, and bar-centric events, (or, you know, something crazy and unexpected like an intimate Foo Fighters show). However, this year, War Memorial Auditorium just upped the ante, announcing an epic local pairing of party punks Diarrhea Planet and garage rockers JEFF the Brotherhood, set to make Oct. 31 the rockingist All Hallows’ Eve we can dream of. Ranch Ghost open, the show is all ages, and admission begins at a reasonable $20, in case you need some extra enticing.
Tickets are set to go on sale this Friday, Aug. 28 at 10 a.m. right here, but we’ve decided to use our Infinity Cat co-curated show tomorrow night at Acme to give out a pair before they go on sale! You’ll have to be there in person tomorrow night, Aug. 25 in order to win, and additional details will be available on-site. Rock some tunes below and start thinking about your costumes now, because Halloween will be here before you know it- might we suggest something from Pete & Pete?
