Last week we told you about Better Off’s upcoming album Milk and brought you the explosive first single “Whatever, I Don’t Care.” Now, ahead of their August 25 show at The End with The Early November, the band have premiered another single, the anguished “Dresser Drawer.” Check it out below, grab tickets to the show here, and make sure to pre-order or grab the album when it drops on Sept. 11!
“Scream ’til your soul dies,” vocalist Luke Granered murmurs in a tense pause, a calm before a storm of goosebumps that this track is bound to give you. About the nature of death and the passage of time, Granered’s raw poeticism is matched beautifully with the dynamic nature of the track, from low-key clean tones and subdued vocals in verses to massive choruses and its chill-inducing bridge, this song is much different then their last single and all over the place in the best kind of way. Check it out below and cry, scream, or just do what feels natural (probably both).
