Last fall, Canadian dance punk duo Death From Above 1979 finally delivered their long-awaited sophomore LP, The Physical World, almost exactly 10 years after their debut, and embarked on a tour in support, including a November stop at Marathon Music Works. Averaging a Nashville date once every decade or so, it was unclear at the time when, or if, the group might make it back to Music City. Well DFA1979 fans, we have some seriously exciting news for you: the band have just announced a July 16 show at Third Man Records‘ Blue Room, which, per usual, will be recorded live direct-to-acetate, and will offer an intimate and sonically unparalleled listening experience. Tickets are available NOW, and will set you back just $10.
