Continuing the post-Bonnaraoo barrage of radius clause-free concert announcements, yesterday alt/indie/rap/electropop duo twenty one pilots, who, hands down, were one of our favorite acts at ‘Roo (look out for coverage later this week), have announced an Oct. 5 return to Nashville, for the first time ever at The Ryman Auditorium (and following sold out outings in years prior at 3rd & Lindsley, Cannery Ballroom, and Marathon Music Works). Celebrating the unprecedented commercial success of their latest album, Blurryface, the Ohio act have quickly found a massive following through their intense, unpredictable stage show and through their unwillingness to conform to any one genre. Tickets for The Ryman performance, which also includes buzzworthy indie pop act Echosmith, are set to go on sale this Friday, June 19 at 10 a.m. CDT, with a pre-sale beginning June 18 (use the code ‘RIDE’). If history has taught us anything, this will almost definitely sell out, so grab your tickets here!
