You might have seen us post about enigmatic, new local rap crew Hot Tub Club a few times in the past, but if not, you need to get up to speed. Led by Carlos Danger III, and featuring Cool Daddy Ace, Acid Classic, and Shabaka Z, the party rap collective, who, so far, have taken Nashville by storm with performances at Mercy Lounge’s New Year’s Eve Party, the season’s first Road to Bonnaroo, and at a recent St. Paddy’s outing with Chingy, are prepping to release their first proper mixtape, Songs 4 Ricky, on June 11. In the meantime, however, the group have dropped a 3-song EP, Spring Break Forever, appropriately landing on 4/20, which you can stream and/or download now for free right here. Whether or not you get Hot Tub Club, we can tell you one thing for sure; Nashville’s never heard anything like them. See the group live as soon as you get the chance, stream their new EP below, and head to fooBAR right NOW for a specially-crurated Hot Tub Club x Freak Me Monday night party (details here).
