Husband and wife duo Mates of State have been an important fixture in indie pop for over 15 years. And, while things have been a bit quiet for the group since the 2011 release of their last full-length, Mountaintops (save for a high-profile tour supporting The Postal Service in 2013), they’ve recently announced a greatest hits compilation, Greats, and a new EP of original tunes, You’re Going to Make It, slated for a June 16 release via Barsuk Records. In support of the new releases, the band have announced a July 6 stop at The High Watt, their first Music City date in four years.
