We told you about Queens of the Stone Age bassist, Michale Shuman’s side project Mini Mansions a few weeks back, and we even offered up a chance at a pair of free tickets to their show with headliners Tame Impala May 11th at the Ryman (read this post). In support of their recently released sophomore album The Great Pretenders, the band has also released an interesting new music video for the track “Vertigo,” featuring Arctic Monkeys front-man Alex Turner and many topless women. You may or may not know that QotSA front-man Josh Homme and Turner are friends, and the bands have worked together on records, including the Monkeys’ last smash hit LP AM, recorded in the famed studio, Rancho De La Luna, in Joshua Tree California. It’s nice to see bands scratching one another backs so readily, and keeping it in ’the family,’ so to speak. Enjoy the video, get hip to Mini Mansions social media, and make sure you get to see them do their thing live at the Ryman on May 11th!
