February already? As we plunge into the second month of 2015, we’re being inundated with more exciting show announcements on an almost daily basis, which also means more ticket giveaways for you! Last week brought one gigantic arena show from a local rock star, festival news, a major tech announcement, and so much more, and, in case you missed any of it, we’ve recapped everything that we covered below:

  • NO COUNTRY PRESENTS: Animal People, MELK, & The Lake Poets | Feb. 3 at Acme Feed & Seed
  • NEWS: JJ Greg & Mofro announced a spring show at Marathon Music Works along with the release of their new LP.
  • NEWS: This Wild Life, Jule Vera, and more were added to 2015 Vans Warped Tour.
  • NEWS: NYC natives Misterwives announced a show at The High Watt in support of their debut album!
  • NEWS: Google Fiber officially announced its expansion to Nashville!
  • NEWS: Forecastle Festival announced its 2015 lineup, which includes Modest Mouse, Cage The Elephant, Sam Smith and more!
  • NEWS: SXSW added another wave of Nashville bands in its latest lineup announcement!
  • NEWS: Toro y Moi announced an Exit/In show ahead of his new album!
  • NEWS: We introduced you to new local label Sweet Sounds Records.
  • NEWS: Minus The Bear announced a spring show at 3rd & Lindsley with Into It. Over It.
  • FEATURE: This Weekend in Nashville: Our staff highlighted the must-see shows of weekend.
  • REVIEW: Jack White rocked Bridgestone Arena with Loretta Lynn, The Raconteurs and William Tyler and we were there to witness it (w/ PHOTOS).

  • SHOW: Jack White performed at Bridgestone Arena with Loretta Lynn and William Tyler.
  • SHOW: Staying for the Weekend, Omega Swan, Ponce Brothers, and more performed for free at Mercy Lounge for 10 off 8th!
  • RELEASE: Drew Holcomb & The Neighbors dropped a new album ahead of a Grimey’s and Ryman performance.
  • RELEASE: Ahead of their forthcoming debut LP, COIN premiered a new single, “Run.”
  • VIDEO: Bobby Bare Jr. perform live for NPR’s “Tiny Desk” series!
  • CONTEST: Ticket Giveaway: Cold War Kids | Feb. 6 at Marathon Music Works
