While Seattle indie/alt rockers Minus The Bear haven’t released a full-length of new material since 2012’s Infinity Overhead, the band have been keeping busy in recent months, touring in support of the 10 year anniversary of their breakthrough EP, 2004’s They Make Beer Commercials Like This, and recently releasing a collection of rare and unheard tracks called Lost Loves. En route to Atlanta’s Shaky Knees Fest (where they will perform 2005’s Menos el Oso in full!!), the band have announced a May 9 stop at Nashville’s own 3rd & Lindsley, with support from emo/indie rockers Into It. Over It. (who recently opened for Mineral, and will play The High Watt Feb. 17 with Kevin Devine). The Nashville date is billed as a “special surprise set,” rather than a Beer Commercials or Menos show, so, while we’re not sure what to expect, we’re sure it’ll be awesome. Tickets are expected to go on sale this Friday, Jan. 30. We’ll update when we know more!
