Phosphorescent - 620

We announced last week that new wave Americana crooner Phosphorescent will be playing solo on 1/29/15 at Exit/ In with Boom Forest and Lord Buffalo, and we are even giving away a set of free tickets, so be sure to enter the contest (see this post). Equally awesome, he and his band will be releasing a new three record, or double disc, live LP on 2/17/15, entitled Live From The Music Hall (on Dead Oceans). The title is in reference to an epic four-night stand they did at Brooklyn’s Music Hall of Williamsburg, during which the record was recorded. To tease the release, we’ve embedded a new track for the album, “Nothing Was Stolen (Love Me Foolishly),” for you to enjoy after the jump.

If you can’t wait that long to get some live tunage from frontman/song writer/guitarist Matthew Houck, and you’re convinced you’ll never win any contests in your life, you can RSVP to this Redbull Sound Select Presents show for just $3 right here. But don’t forget to click on to hear the new live track, cop the album next month, and be sure to get into Mr. Houck and his droogs social media. Hope to see you at the show!
