Nashville’s favorite teenage punks JAWWS are coming out with a new 7″ this Saturday, Dec. 6, and the band are celebrating their new release with a house party at Exponent Manor. They’ll be joined by three other local punk acts, Good Sex, Plastic Bags, and Date Night. Run by the folks behind Fountainhead Booking, the house at 2828 Georgia Ave. has been putting on shows since last May. Doors open at 7 p.m., the show starts at 8 p.m., and, luckily, it’s all ages so the peers of some of these very young musicians can actually check out their friends’ bands. JAWWS have shown Nashville that kids can sometimes rock harder than us old cranky people who are able to legally drink.
The four-track 7″, titled S/T, is available for preorder on the band’s Bandcamp page, and 275 white vinyl copies will be up for grabs. Also, keep an eye on Fountainhead Collective for more Exponent Manor gigs, if you’re into good house shows. Click through to see the album artwork, and get excited for S/T, which you’ll be able to buy on Saturday.
