The Bluegrass bending Yonder Mountain String Band (YMSB) will be hitting the Cannery Ballroom on January 23.  Tickets went on sale today, Nov. 21 at 10 a.m. and are available for $25.  Yonder Mountain String Band are comprised of Adam Aijala (guitar, vocals), Dave Johnston (banjo, vocals), and Ben Kaufmann (bass, vocals).  Special guest artists who will appear with the band include standout musicians Jake Jolliff (mandolin, vocals) and Allie Kral (fiddle, vocals).

YMSB have evolved into something of a phenomenon on the concert and festival circuit. The band have sold out Colorado’s famed Red Rocks several times, and have become a regular performer at major music festivals like the iconic Telluride Bluegrass Festival, Summer Camp, and DelFest, as well as massive multi-stage events like Bonnaroo and Austin City Limits Festival.  YMSB is currently working on a new full-length studio recording so fans can expect a new album to be released soon. Check out Yonder performing “Franklins Tower” at String Summit with Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzman and more…
