RACHAEL YAMAGATA
Rachael Yamagata’s tour includes songs from her 10-year career as well as the premiere of new track from her forthcoming album. due out in early 2015. Touted by NPR as having “a guts and a sexiness to her,” Rachael has been compared to Bonnie Raitt, Rufus Wainwright, and Ryan Adams, but we understand the new production territory may call in hints of Mazzy Star and Cat Power, as well, with new elements of mellotrons, rain splattering on metal, and even French translated letters. Say what? I guess we will just need to check it out…
THE DOVE AND THE WOLF
The Dove & the Wolf are Paloma and Lou, a musical duo from Paris, France, who are doing their first North American tour this fall supporting their “big sister” Rachael Yamagata.
