A couple months back, we first introduced you to local indie pop trio TWICEYOUNG, whose sophomore EP, Prefer You, is set to drop on Nov. 11. Boasting a layered, synthy atmospheric style with pop accessibility, lyrical depth, and punk undertones, TWICEYOUNG conjure similarities to fellow Nashville faves Farewell Flight, Vinyl Thief, Wild Cub, Phin, and Paper Route (whose bassist, Chad Howat, mixed the EP, which Kyle Rictor produced). We already gave you lead single “Uncover,” and a stylized music video to accompany it. Now, we have another taste of Prefer You to tide you over until next week, in the form of new single “Separate You” (which snuck by us a couple weeks back while we were at CMJ). Listen below, and be sure to pre-order the EP if you like what you hear!
