If you kept your eyes on the site last week, then you probably have a good idea of what we were doing: going to quality shows, and lots of them! Aside from all of the previews, reviews, and announcements, we managed to sneak in some song and video premieres, new contests, and more about our weekly Acme Feed & Seed showcase. If you had as busy a week as we did, we wouldn’t blame you if you didn’t catch everything we covered. Luckily, we’ve rounded it all up in one convenient recap for you below:

  • RELEASE: Shakey Graves released his sophomore album, And The War Came, ahead of his Oct. 16th Nashville show.
  • RELEASE: Good Sex released new single, “No Sweat,” off of their upcoming album.
  • VIDEO: Local duo Cherub premiered a new music video for “<3”
  • VIDEO: Jack White stopped by Ellen to chat and perform two songs.
  • VIDEO: We exclusively premiered a bluesy new live video for Whoa Dakota‘s “The Sand.”
  • VIDEO: Kelly Ruth debuted a video for her cover of “Monster Mash,” featuring other local artists!
  • VIDEO: Oliva Jean released a music video for “Reminisce” ahead of her Third Man Records debut.
