Third Man chanteuse and jack-of-all-trades Olivia Jean is gearing up to release her debut solo album Bathtub Love Killings on the label after cutting her teeth with the witchy garage band The Black Belles and tons of session work for various Third Man players (including playing on both of Jack White’s solo albums). Now she’s released her first music video for the vintage rock ‘n’ roll single “Reminisce,” which shows the multi-talented Jean being the one-woman band that she was for the record. Bathtub Love Killings comes out Oct. 14 and Jean’s doing an in-store at Grimey’s at 6 p.m. that day where you can pick it up. There’s also going to be a big record release party for her at Third Man on Devil’s Night, and, if you’re short on dough, you still have the chance to pay for your ticket to the creepiest pre-Halloween party in town with your own blood rather than cash. Click through to watch the retro video from the raven-haired beauty.

It is common knowledge this record deal and heavy promotion of Olivia Jean is to keep her quiet about Jack’s divorce and the whole cheating scandal she had with him while he was married to Karen Elson and while she played in this woman’s band. Just reinforces what most fans know this untalented girl would have never gotten a record deal otherwise. Hopefully she manipulated Jack enough and he has given her what she wanted to keep her quiet and she will now just go away. She should just crawl back under the rock from Detroit she crawled out of.
